Some Observations From The Loke Test

Ok, so we went to the loke test at Osaka Namba Hills Arcade.
There are some small stuff we noticed during the loketest.

People are still trying to figure out how to link Hazama's normals, including after the swing and pulling opponents to him. Maybe they will tweak his normals in the next loke test.

Rachel is more dependant on wind now, but her canon now shoots faster.

Arakune is very dependant on his fever.

The players commented that Tager is now pretty scary.

There's more variety in Noel's strings now.

Othwerwise, every other character pretty much are the same, with some minor things to adapt to.

Looks like major changes might happen only in the next loke test.

Peace out!
Akane

BlazBlue Loketest @ Osaka Namba Hills Arcade

Yes folks, we're in Japan and we went for the loketest in Osaka!

It was fun. There were some changes for players to adapt to but I am sure that is a minor problem. We were lucky to get 2 plays despite the crowd.
I managed to win a Hakumen before losing to a Jin in the first go and won a Noel before losing to a Ragna in the second go.

Kilvear played Carl in the first go and got bullied by said Hakumen. He played Bang later in the second go.

We also managed to meet up with HeartNana!

Yeah, that's him with cheese curry rice. We may have more updates to come, but that's all for now.

Peace out,
Akane

Saturday 26/09/09

It is 2 more days before the tournament and I like to note a few things here.

First, please be punctual. If your partner did not make it, you have to either pair up with a single entry or face team battle alone(if you lose and you are the single entry. you are out).

Second, bring exact change to pay for the registration as I won't be able to give out change it. You can break your bigger notes at the TKA counter if you need to.

Lastly, we will still be accepting people to join at the day itself until 1.30pm which we will need to consolidate the participants and generate the brackets.

With that said, I hope you will enjoy the tournament.

Kilvear Signing Off.

Poster

The poster and prizes. Also I like to address Team names. It is required for all teams to have names (unless you are without a team and are randomly teamed up, I will have random names for all of those teams). If you have difficulty thinking of names, I can list some names of those SBO teams.

- team in VF5R tournament called "Last Boss"
- team in SF4 tournament called "The Boy"
- another team in SF4 called 2D神道 translated as "The way of 2D"

Also for existing teams with names using words describing female chests and religious reference are required to have them change. For former you would want more female players it would be be wise not to give them the wrong impression and for the latter religious reference this would offend certain parties. I will email those teams with names that are not suitable.

I do allow suggestive names that doesn't give itself away. One of it came from Farp for a team name called "Big and Small". You will probably figure out what that means. Anyways do think of name for your team.

Kilvear signing off here.

Blazblue Tournament this coming Saturday

Just a reminder that the tournament is coming this Saturday. Also I will answer a question I got frequently regarding why there is a registration fee this time around.

The registration fee is for paying to play the game as BlazBlue is set to free play during tournament. Note that the free play is only for the Tournament participants and the staff will be deployed to watch for freeloaders.

For all other tournaments it is usually you pay for your game and its free to register to clarify the difference.
